Tailor-made solution for AZ Sint-Lucas

Innovative thinking formed the foundation of this realization. The old situation was characterized by freestanding chargers on the ground and loose cables. By carefully listening to the needs of AZ Sint-Lucas, Orange Charging devised solutions to address the pain points of the previous setup. In response, brackets were designed to attach chargers to the ceiling, saving space and preventing collisions. By mounting the chargers to the roof, loose cables could be neatly concealed in a cable duct. This solution complements the modern aesthetic of the world’s second most beautiful parking garage.

The design of the parking garage was used as inspiration for the design of the chargers, making the charging stations an extension of the architecture.

Power increase through a new transformer station

Together with the hospital's in-house installer, Orange Charging built a new transformer station near the parking garage to ensure sufficient electricity for the charging stations.

Paying without a charging card

Thanks to a QR code on the charger, it is possible to start a transaction without a charging card. Payments for the desired charging session can be made digitally.
